Is that a pre-requisite? Is A Question of Sport about to become a whole different kind of programme?

Is Alex Scott a rug muncher?

Re: Sue Barker leaving BBC's A Question of Sport after 24 years
So we are going to get Alex Scott and Sam Quek (spelling?) on AQOS.? Add in Alesha Lehmann (spelling?) from West Ham women's team as the other team captain and you get the correct answer to the question "name Fifth Column's ideal sporting threesome"?

I'll be tuning in.

The truth is that cunts like Lineker are part of the problem

Lineker is just a smug, jug eared, Walkers crisp eating cunt

Re: Sue Barker leaving BBC's A Question of Sport after 24 years
Alex Scott is CONFIRMED as Sue Barker's replacement on A Question Of Sport as Gary Lineker is accused of 'race-baiting' after saying anyone who doesn't agree is 'part of the problem'

So, if I thought Ebony Rainsford - Brent, was a better candidate for the job, Lineker would have a problem, with that?

You'd have to say that Lineker really is a MASTER BAITER

Not sure how anyone can judge until the shorlist for the role is released as to whether she is the right replacement

Lineker certainly doesn't contribute to the "TER" population of social media.

Lineker really is a smug cunt isn't he. The BBC should ban him from using TWITTER.

Debs.

What's the point in not paying your TV licence if you can't complain about a program you don't watch?

Re: Sue Barker leaving BBC's A Question of Sport after 24 years
Agreed Debs, aqos is a shit programme so even if she is shit then it will fit in with the theme of the whole show.

Also lots of young girls probably worship here and it may enocourage them to tune in. Anything that gets kid more interested in sport is a good thing surely

It was only good when McCoist and Tufnell were on there

It was McCoist and John Parrot wasn't it?

...these TV channels never learn do they. They get hold of someone who the public think is OK and then they just ram then into everything and people get just get sick of them.

Sometimes they don't even seem to bother to research people that the public think are OK, they just make assumptions on our behalf (cf Gary fucking Lineker, Davina fucking McCall)

I agree OTB. After 24 years, Sue Barker has had a decent run. They should change it around more often to shake things up, because it becomes stale and boring.

Re: Sue Barker leaving BBC's A Question of Sport after 24 years
She's charming, funny, knows sport, attractive - what's the issue?

I understand why people are hand-wringing, but QoS was boring as fuck and stuck in the past. She's fine as a new presenter. People don't like change but sometimes it's good - I see no issue with getting rid of the other two either (much as I don't mind Tufnell) as it stopped being funny long ago.

Names in the frame to replace Matt and Phil include footie pundit Jermaine Jenas, ex-cricketer Alex Tudor, former rugby ace Jason Robinson, hockey star Sam Quek and cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy.

Chris Hoy has become a token.

Indeed. I quite like her to be honest. But these TV channels never learn do they. They get hold of someone who the public think is OK and then they just ram then into everything and people get just get sick of them.
